DICK LANE PLANT AND GROUNDWORK CONTRACTORS based in Cranleigh, Surrey have been established for over 25 years covering all areas in the south of England.

Dick started the business as an owner-operator of a 360 degree tracked excavator and over the years has progressed into groundworks contracting and now has 3 small groundworks gangs carrying out demolition and site clearance, excavations, foundations, foul and surface water drainage, roads and drives, stables bases and equestrian arenas. 

It is a family run business with Dick’s wife Jan running the accounts and clerical side, their son Toby recently joined the business having left college with a view to becoming a quantity surveyor.  However Dick is still very much “hands on” in the business working on site or in the office.

Over the past 20 years we have developed a strong customer base working for domestic, industrial, commercial and equestrian clients.
